		<description>Mickey, please tell me how you square your Iraq theories with the election of Lieberman. If you're thinking about Webb, then you might be badly confused by his "withdraw now" plan, because it assumes "... and make Tehran a sea of molten glass". If anything, Americans voted for far more vigorous prosecution of the war with the Islamists.</description>

		<description>High spending was happening throughout the '02 and '04 elections and it didn't seam to disuade voters. This election was clearly lost over the bleeding wound of Iraq. Its time to face facts and put a tourniquet on it, if Bush can orchestrate a withdrawal before the '08 campaign the Republicans may restore their previous political dominance.</description>
