Supporting the Marines in Berkeley, part II

Here’s my photo-update from the Wednesday event. It got some coverage on Drudge report, Instapundit, Michelle Malkin’s blog, as well as others.

Here is Melanie Morgan and another woman singing patriotic songs.

Some of the signs at the event; first on the pro-troops side:

also in attendance were amusing t-shirts. One I liked says “I’d rather be a right-wing nut job than a liberal with no nuts and no job”.

And the liberal signs:

CodePink’s van gets painted with new slogans regularly

Large pink banner

The usual hurt/dead child photos were present as well as abu ghraib images
various 677
There were UC Berkeley students as well as Berkeley High students on each side of the street, this one with an impeach sign.

Upside-down American flags are supposed to be used only as a distress symbol and such use as in this photo is considered by many to be disrespectful

And other miscelaneous photos:

Someone brought their “surrender monkey”

  3. Great blog. Found you through Move America Forward. I was there and a good time was had by all - if you are a patriot, that is!

Sure warms my heart knowing you youngsters are doing the right thing and not mindlessly following the goosestepping left.

  4. Found your site when I googled The Patriot Foundation. What a surprise to find this site coming out of Berkley. May I say a pleasant surprise. The protesters forget the military protects their right to protest.
