So declares the mysterious "Actually....." who doesn't feel confident enough in his opinion to assign his name to it.

If Student Action wasn't in power, someone else would've taken these things over. CalSERVE's objections, in fact, are likely due to Student Action's involvement, and these events would be more successful if they were not run by Student Action.

The bookswap, for instance, was started by Misha Leybovich, who was an APPLE senator at the time, before APPLE got consumed by Student Action. Why should we believe that these other events wouldn't have occurred without Student Action?

Hey-you're slightly mistaken. All the DONE fliers indicate actions that have been taken this past year.

For example, From All Perspectives has been brought to life and is happening again because of Student Action; the director is an SA senate candidate and the senators have all supported her, while calserve repelled the idea from the start. Also, Dance Marathon is coming through the AAVP's office since Calserve refused to support this event, even though it is purely nonprofit and for charity.

So, to clarify, these events have happened in the past, but would not have happened this year if it wasn't for Student Action. Hope this helps.
