Lonely Protester on Sproul
So I was walking on campus today and I saw this guy hanging out on sproul. I’m pretty sure he is from the ACLU
If you don’t know who is in the guys picture, it is Boalt Law Professor John Yoo, who worked for the Bush Administration from 2001 to 2003. He is one of the few conservative professors in Berkeley and the Patriot will be interviewing him on Thursday for the December publication.
Tell John, he is a hero. There are people here that love him for what he does.

This looks like one of the World Can’t Wait morons. I heard they’re planning to protest the military tomorrow. Veterans Day is Tuesday.

Well, whether you agree with his political positions or not (I don’t), he is a fantastic professor. Truly so. Secondly, what is free speech if you can be fired for having crappy political beliefs? Berkeley Law would be a worse school without the likes of Professor Yoo, even if his Unitary Executive idea was bunk. =)
