www.Drudgereport.com - The Drudge Report has been one of the most popular news sites for conservatives for almost a decade. The site was created in 1994 by Matt Drudge, but became nationally recognized as an important news source during President Clinton’s Lewinsky scandal. The site is always updated with breaking news and should be one of the priority sources for your news during the presidential season.

www.Realclearpolitics.com - This is a great site for finding articles from different political websites and blogs. The most interesting web articles of the day are put on the site, ranging from the Wall Street Journal to the left- leaning New York Times. Aside from a great source for articles, Realclearpolitics has both presidential campaign speeches and daily tracking polls on the candidates.

www.Online.wsj.com - Even if you do receive the Wall Street Journal at your residence, their website is full of much more political and business information. Most of the articles are free to view and are usually very informative on political issues. Our favorite part of the website is the opinion journal, which is the editorial part of the paper and always provides enjoyable reading material.

www.Foxnews.com - Along with the Drudge Report, the Fox News website is a great place to find daily information about the presidential race and world events. Just being able to quickly check the website allows you to stay up to date on important world issues of the day.

www.Politico.com - This website is great for strictly political information. Very informative on political issues, the Politico has many daily articles addressing different aspects of the presidential campaign. The site also has an assortment of political blogs and a daily tracking Gallup poll about the presidential nominees.

www.JohnMcCain.com - If you need more information on John McCain’s positions on conservative issues, then go over to his presidential campaign website. At his site, you can find his stance on important subjects, such as the economy, energy, and foreign policy.

www.Mrc.org - The Media Research Center is a watchdog group dedicated to exposing liberal media bias. They have daily videos and transcripts of reporters from the different news networks acting in hypocritical ways. This website is especially important during the presidential campaign.

www.Michellemalkin.com - One of the most popular conservative bloggers, Michelle Malkin keeps a daily website that tracks the crazy actions done by liberals. Over the past few years, she has been very outspoken on topics related to illegal immigration and the war in Iraq.

www.Thehill.com - Along with the Politico, The Hill is a great website to find information strictly on politico issues. The site is a non-partisan website and focuses mostly on topics concerning the U.S. Congress. Also, they have videos and interviews related to issues on Capitol Hill.

www.Townhall.com - Similar to Realclearpolitics, the Townhall website provides viewers with an assortment of different articles important to Americans. They have columnists who are regularly featured on Fox News and other major news networks.

Think Tanks

Heritage Foundation—www.heritage.org - The Heritage Foundation is a one of the most popular conservative think tanks. Their website is great for reading in-depth articles about policy issues facing the U.S. Most of their writers come from successful careers in academia and public service, so much experience is put forth in their articles.

Council on Foreign Relations—www.cfr.org - While much more of a non-partisan think tank, the Council on Foreign Relations has been one of the most influential groups since it’s founding in 1921. Employing a broad range of knowledgeable people from around the world, CFR is great place to read detailed analysis on important international issues.

American Enterprise Institute—www.aei.org - The American Enterprise Institute is another think tank popular with conservatives. Similar to the Heritage Foundation, AEI employs the most accomplished people working in the public and private sector.

Publications

Weekly Standard—www.weeklystandard.com - The Weekly Standard is one of the most influential conservative national magazines. It was founded by William Kristol and Fred Barnes, two very popular journalists in the conservative movement. Their website is filled with detailed articles about presidential issues.

National Review—www.nationalreview.com - The National Review is one of the longest running conservative magazines, created in 1955 by the late great William F. Buckley Jr. While the magazine is a biweekly publication, their website is full of interesting articles on national politics. Two of our favorite writers for the magazine are Rich Lowry and Jonah Goldberg.

California Patriot—www.californiapatriot.org - The California Patriot has been the dominant political magazine on the Berkeley campus for about a decade. Our publication provides students and alumni with the opportunity to read about important political issues from a conservative perspective, which is always an exciting adventure on a campus dominated by liberals.
